Captivating

I ran across a quote as I was reading a book called Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge. This book is a very inspiring book. It shows that your heart matters more than anything else in this world. The quote actually made me cry because when you think about it, deep down this is what every girl wants:

When you think and you look deep inside yourself isn't that something as a woman you have always longed for? Isn't that what they teach us in all of these movies portraying princess' being swept up by their prince charming? And when they first see each other do they not stop and just stare at each other? Its like a magic that is taking place. Something is striking them and making them realize that the person they are standing in front of is the person they should be with for the rest of their life? Does that really happen in real life? Do you really stand there in awe and wonder? Is it a time stopping moment? I'd like to think that it is, not only because that is what I have dreamed about since childhood, but also because I wonder if that has happened to me already. I guess if I have to wonder then it probably didn't happen right? I don't think so. Its something that is in you all of your life. I think you just know who you are supposed to spend the rest of your life with. It's just something that comes naturally to you. Don't you think?

My first Blog

So I am so excited about having a blog...somewhere to put all of my thoughts and feelings of the moment. Somewhere to just let it all loose. Finally.
